The sale was drawn out due to errors on the buyer’s side and Emerson’s were quick to react with communications with the buyers solicitor. I think that some of the initial process could have been made easier if I had been asked for all possible documentation at the beginning of the process instead of having to make several trips to the office to deal with this . That said, all the staff I encountered were very helpful. I would be happy to recommend this firm and hopefully will use them again in the future.4 stars EF.

Was recommended Emmersons by a colleague who had a good experience. Overall found good value for money, quick to appoint at beginning of conveyancing, and ease of returning documents. Communication could have been slightly improved by having more updates, not waiting so long for replies to emails and although a direct line is given for your named solicitor there is never any answer. I only managed to speak to my solicitor on the phone at the day of completion. Overall pleased and think the service was good. 4 stars EF.

Danyal was informative from the beginning of what seemed like a very long process of selling and buying our house (no fault of his) with sales and purchases both falling through at different points. Swift service. Great, swift service from the moment we made our offer. It only took around 8-9 weeks altogether, which for us was relatively good. From a first time buyer's point of view our only recommendation would be for more communication to the clients. As I have no legal knowledge as do many other first time buyers, perhaps a weekly email to update the client would improve the experience from a service point of view. Other than that I was very happy with the service provided and I would recommend Emmerson's to anyone who is buying or selling property. 5 stars.

On the whole I was happy with the conveyancing service provided by our trainee solicitor Jasmine. She and her paralegal colleague (Danyal) were always professional and worked hard to secure our property completion by the SDLT deadline. Things went right to the wire however which added to existing stress. I would have found things easier to digest if we were supplied with documents for reading in a more staggered format. I used this firm primarily based on their google reviews. I must admit they are wonderful people and very responsive and professional. I mostly communicated with them via email and the responses were swift. I never waited for more than two hours from them to respond. I definitely recommend them and would use them again if I need to in the future. These are the best solicitors out there. we used their service for the purchase of our first home and they were absolutely brilliant. Stephen explained the process thoroughly and If we had any questions, he was just a phone call away. We got the home in just a month.
