Emmersons Family Law Team had become so busy that they were turning work away. Therefore, the firm decided to expand the team by taking on two new members of staff.
Terri Leigh, who was previously a partner at another firm, has joined our practice and will be supported by a Solicitor in Training. Terri brings a wealth of experience. Emmersons now has a team of seven lawyers working from our Sunderland and Newcastle offices.
Our Director, Jacqueline Emmerson, has been undertaking Family Law since 1989, and the Head of Family Law in Sunderland, Tracey Hammond, has over 30 years of experience. Elizabeth Brown works largely from our Newcastle office and is 22 years qualified, which adds to what is probably one of the most senior and experienced Family Law Teams in the region.
Our team deals with Wills and Probate when separating; we act for a great number of business clients, including entrepreneurs, property investors, dentists and doctors. We also have a high number of clients who are lecturers and professors.
