Duncan Emmerson and Michael Robinson are both specialist criminal law litigators and advocates. Duncan was previously a partner at Freedman Hamilton and Emmerson which was one of Sunderland's busiest criminal practices.

Crime

Michael Robinson has Higher Rights of Audience enabling him to represent those involved in criminal cases in the Crown Court, Court of Appeal, House of Lords and at the European Court of Human Rights.

We represent defendants during the Police investigation stage, at Magistrates' Courts and in the Crown Court. We have a certain expertise in relation to 'white collar crime' as well as road traffic cases (exceptional hardship/special reasons applications).

We often assist Service personnel and their families. We have a history of assisting people referred to us by SSAFA.
